This may have been a while ago, but I was excited to see what the new Windows 11 had in store. It is packed with features that contribute to a nearly seamless UI experience. However, during this transition, there were still a few hiccups. While I didn't experience many, one of them was a Windows playback error.

Common Causes for Video Playback Issues on Windows 11

There could be several probable reasons behind your Video playback error. A few common ones are listed below:

Fix Video Playback Issue on Windows 11: Solutions

Method 1: Run Video Playback Troubleshooter on Windows 11

Troubleshooting is the first aid of most computer issues. You can run the video playback troubleshooter option in this scenario to rectify the problem. The steps are given below

  1. Use the Windows + I shortcut to open Windows Settings.
  2. Click on the system and Select the Troubleshoot option.

Method 2: Update Display Drivers

Display drivers are usually updated automatically. However, it's common to have a pending update left over. You can download and install the latest driver update using the steps below.

  1. Open the Windows Startup Menu, and use the search bar to locate and open Device Manager.Device Manger

  2. Access the Apps Section.

    • Disable the Process video automatically to enhance its option.
    • Disable the Save network bandwidth by playing video at the lower resolution option.

Method 4: Toggle Rendering Options

Rendering options dictate how your system processes media. Adjusting the settings might work. You can try it for yourself by following the instructions given below.

  1. Open Control Panel.
